These are tests of the watch only for now, its raining and I could not take it for a "run" and so did not install the software yet. More to come soon. The watch will not communicate with a PC without the software. The software is not compatible with a MAC.
This watch comes with many, many functions, and fortunately the menus on the dot matrix LCD display are pretty self explanatory. I gave it a quick charge of about an hour with a supplied USB clamp that grabs the watch in a set of plastic jaws with four gold pins. The charge is good for a year of watch only, or 8 hours with heart rate monitor and GPS running. There is a battery meter as well. There a four main screens, a watch, exercise, navigation and compass. The exercise and compass have additional screens. The watch is THICK, 16 mm, but about the same as my Casio Pathfinder w/ Solar, Atomic, Compass, Barometer and thermometer. The case is black resin and the front is genuine... Read more

The Size is perfect for average build person's wrist with active lifestyle, it is about 55 grams in weight -not too heavy, and about 16 mm thick - slightly thicker than expected but not too uncomfortable to wear. It is rated to about 30 meters water resistance.
The build quality is good and in my opinion will last a long time. The watch body is attractive looking with overall rubbery feel and made out of high quality materials. The LCD visibility is very good, it also has "Night mode" wherein you get a "bluish green" glow when you press the light button.

Also for the price (at this time $119)it is by far the best option......unless of course something goes wrong and , God forbid, you need to call customer support. Well, that first thing is there is none. The only way you can get a hold of Ultega is to leave a message on this call back service in Canada, so that someone from Illinois can call back..at anytime. I kid you not: I actually have to tale the product with me as I work around town and hope that when they do call I will not be driving on the highway or be otherwise unable to answer.
